CREDAI Visakhapatnam (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India, Visakhapatnam chapter), is an organization formed as Apartment Builders Association in 1989 and was affiliated to CREDAI National in 2010, to become CREDAI Visakhapatnam. The main aim of the association is to provide a home, which is a cherished dream of all sections of people in the society, in tune with his financial status. CREDAI Visakhapatnam has the highest number of members at about 400 in Andhra Pradesh, which has 20 chapters.

Mission
To provide houses to all sections of people in the society at affordable prices. Construct apartments, gated community buildings with modern facilities, luxury flats and ensure a dream house to people keeping in mind their taste and financial capacity.
Responsibility
To keep the members informed about various Rules, Regulations and Laws connected with building industry, have a common forum and deal collectively with authorities concerned and solve legitimate problems of builders.
CREDAI Youth Wing
CREDAI Youth Wing is formed keeping in view the need to bring together the next generation of real estate builders and developers so that they can be groomed and nurtured to become better professionals, ethical businessmen and true leaders in Real Estate. Inculcating strong values and developing a knowledge and learning based environment for these young and bright developers.
The Youth Wing aims to educate the second generation entrepreneurs on various aspects of the business through learning summits and study. It will a platform for ensure knowledge sharing, interaction through business forums and contributing to society through CSR initiative/ activities.

Late B.R Raju Garu
BR Raju Memorial Award :
- Buddha Raju Ramachandra Raju, or B.R.Raju, is a renowned personality with a keen interest in architecture. He played a vital role in transforming the Apartment Builders Association into CREDAI-Visakhapatnam and is widely regarded as the Architect of the association. B.R.Raju's contribution to the association was immense, and he played a key role in its development.
- Apart from his association with the real estate industry, B.R.Raju also had a passion for architecture. He made significant contributions towards the development of the architecture subject at Andhra University, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to the field.
- B.R.Raju is a multifaceted personality whose contributions have had a significant impact on the real estate and architecture sectors. His dedication and passion for these fields have inspired many and continue to serve as an inspiration to future generations.
- CREDAI - Visakhapatnam honours his memory by presenting an award under his name to top three meritorious students of civil engineering dept of andhra university each year.
Late Aswini Mrudula Garu
Aswini Mrudala Memorial Award :
- In 2013, a tragic incident occurred where dacoits attacked a house, and a brave girl named Mrudula, who tried to resist them, was kidnapped, raped, and killed. It was believed that the incident occurred due to inadequate security arrangements.
- In response to this incident, the association decided to introduce an award for the builder who had implemented appropriate security measures in their apartments. The award aims to recognize the importance of security in apartments and promote its implementation to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
- As a result of this incident, the provision of CCTV cameras in apartments became mandatory. The award ceremony will be presented by the Commissioner of Police, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the real estate industry and law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
Late K. Subba Raju Garu
K Subba Raju Memorial Award :
- CREDAI-Visakhapatnam association has instituted the K.Subba Raju Memorial Award in memory of Our friend, philosopher, and guide, K.Subba Raju. His contribution to the association's development was undoubtedly unmatched, and the scholarship in his name would be a fitting tribute to his legacy.
- The award, in the form of scholarships, would benefit three students pursuing a diploma in civil engineering from the Government Polytechnic every year. It is encouraging to see such initiatives that support the education of deserving students and promote the growth of the industry. The award ceremony would be held during the Property Expo every year, which is an excellent platform to showcase the latest developments in the real estate sector.
- It is commendable that Sri K.V.R.Raju (Ramesh), son of K.Subba Raju, has donated Rs.5 lakhs towards this cause. The interest earned on this amount would be added to the scholarship fund, ensuring its continuity for years to come. Such gestures of generosity and philanthropy help create a positive impact on society and inspire others to contribute to similar causes.
- Overall, the K.Subba Raju Memorial Award is a noble initiative that would benefit deserving students and keep alive the memory of a great visionary and leader in the real estate industry.
